He supported minorities because he made jobs that were open to people who needed jobs. Most of the people who needed jobs where the minorities. That showed the he cared about the minorities and wanted them to have jobs.

Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt supported minorities in many ways. Mary McLeod Bethune was appointed the Director of Minority affairs in the National Youth Administration and a special adviser on minority affairs. The Daughters of an American Revolution prevented Marian Anderson from singing to an integrated audience at Constitutional Hall. Eleanor Roosevelt aided her in performing a critically acclaimed open-air concert on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. I believe that the Rooselvelts really helped with the advancement of colored people by doing this.

Eleanor Roosevelt was the most supportive of the two. She was the one who went to rallies and protests.She even went to coal mines to see the working conditions This embarressed Franklin very much.

FDR did not help minorities that much. He did not support a anti-lyching law becuse he feared that if he did, the south would turn against him. With the new deal he did help some minoirties but not all.He proved jobs, but did not help with thier Civil Rights.
