I think that it was the Great Depression. People were depressed and they all lost their jobs. Then Hitler came in and pretty much said "Hey guys, follow me if you want to make Germany a great country again." Of course people followed him because they wanted to make Germany better again and they wanted to do anything to have money again. Hitler made people in Germany make nuclear bombs and other things of that sort. The Germans did not know any better and were very gullible. If there was no Great Depression, there would not be a good chance for Hitler to trick the Germans.

In my opinion the rise of Hitler and his followers, the Nazis, started it. In Europe they were trying to terminate Jews, Catholics, gypsies and the disabled in an effort to make a "pure" race. He had Germany, Italy and Japan on his side. Japan being close to Hawaii, they bombed Pearl Harbor. This event started WWII in America.

I think that there were many reasons that led to WWII. The biggest reasons were: Hitler killing Jews and other religious groups, and when Japan started invading China. These actions created unrest throughout the world, which started WWII.

In my opnion and what ive been taught I think that Hitler was the main cause of world war 2. The conquering of poland to me is what started it, not the halocaust because the Amercan Goverment did not know about the mass killing of jews.
